Marmot ointment and Sarntal mountain pine oil loosen up and relax, stimulate the skin and strengthen the joints. Marmot fat is traditionally known to have analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. A scientific study from the 1980s has proven that marmot fat contains steroid hormones such as cortisone and hydrocortisone. Marmot ointments are used, among other things, to treat rheumatic complaints as well as muscle and joint pain. Moreover, they can be used to soothe inflammatory skin diseases.
